The revision of the EU Ecolabel criteria for Lubricants (Commission Decision (EU) 2018/1702 of 8 November 2018) started in fall 2026, its end is expected by end of Q2 2028 (date to be determined).

This project will be based mainly on the requirements addressed in Annex I (C.) of the Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 of the European Parliament and the Council of 25 November 2009 on the EU Ecolabel outlining the shortened procedure for non-substantial revision of the criteria.

A precise list of tasks, expected deliverables, and project timeline will be provided once available.

Registered stakeholders will be informed about the publication of draft reports, the availability of questionnaires or upcoming meetings by e-mail.
