The Preparatory Study develops the background analysis to support the policy-making process, in particular development of the potential ecodesign measures (information and performance requirements) for steel products. The Study will address the following tasks, in accordance with a tailor-made methodology that brings together existing best practices in the area of technology assessment, life cycle assessment and multi-criteria analysis.

• 1st Stakeholder Meeting took place online on 25th June 2024 from 10.00-13.30. You can find the presentation in the subsection “documents”. The most recent version of the preparatory study has been shared with stakeholders for their review. We will be collecting the feedback until the end of summer 2024.
