The Preparatory Study develops the background analysis to support the policy-making process, in particular development of the potential ecodesign measures (information and performance requirements) for steel products. The Study will address the following tasks, in accordance with a tailor-made methodology that brings together existing best practices in the area of technology assessment, life cycle assessment and multi-criteria analysis.
The project foresees stakeholder consultations and the organisation of stakeholder workshops. Registered stakeholders will be informed about the publication of draft reports, the availability of questionnaires and upcoming meetings by email.
