The Preparatory Study develops the background analysis to support the policy-making process, in particular development of the potential ecodesign measures (information and performance requirements) for steel products. The Study will address the following tasks, in accordance with a tailor-made methodology that brings together existing best practices in the area of technology assessment, life cycle assessment and multi-criteria analysis.
