What's new

First Stakeholder Working Group meeting, 29th June 2018 Further to the stakeholder questionnaire earlier this year, we are pleased to announce that the first stakeholder working group meeting will take place at the Borschette Centre in Brussels on Friday 29th June 2018. The meeting will take place over a full day from 08:30 until 16:00. Registered stakeholders interested in attending should inform the JRC at the latest by the 23rd May 2018 by writing to JRC-B5-PHOTOVOLTAICS@ec.europa.eu. Formal invitations will be sent out following this deadline. If you haven't yet registered as a stakeholder you can do so here.

The aim of the meeting will be to discuss the scope of the products and systems to be analysed by the study,as well as other preliminary aspects covered in drafts of the first three task reports that will be published by JRC in advance of the meeting. Other aspects covered will include current standards, market developments, user behaviour and requirements, and end of life routes. In anticipation of analysis to take place later this year, there will also be a first discussion on the Best Available Technology (BAT).

The publication of the first three task reports by JRC, as well as a draft report on standardisation aspects, will be accompanied by a period of written consultation, up to Friday 27th July 2018. During this period registered stakeholders will be invited to comment on the draft reports and to provide a response to specific consultation points. In order to comment you will need to use the BATIS online consultation platform. The documents will be published in BATIS as well on the project website here.
